There are no ulterior motives hidden behind this electrifying set. These guys are not into the artsy-fartsy emo balogna, just the straight forward rockin' out and having a great time doing it. After playing the East Texas scene for the past 3 years, Tisdale has recently made the transition to a bigger, better music scene in Austin, TX. Having played an average of a decade each in different bands previously, Tisdale's got the on stage experience to deliver a live show that will keep you on your toes, and keep you singing and dancing right along. Tisdale has recorded 3 releases to date, all of which were recorded, mixed and mastered in their home studio in Kilgore, Tx...a studio that was once a garage which they converted into a "studio" by use of a lot of acoustic foam, carpet and slave labor. What you hear on the Myspace player is Tisdale's most recent release. (Which was never actually sold...it was just handed out.) Despite what the lyrics in "the Diddy" may suggest, Tisdale likes to keep it real and just accept the fact that they will probably never "make it". "We're way too lazy" says front-man Levi, and he's probably right about that, but that hasn't stopped them from playing over 200 shows since early spring of 2003. "We don't go out and book shows...we just let people ask us to come play...and back home, as it turned out, we got asked to play 2 or 3 times a week." This lack of ambition is probably exactly what has kept Tisdale among the ranks of the local bands since their beginning, even though they were at the top of their class. Nevertheless, Tisdale lives for the opportunity to perform and loves nothing better in the world. "We're not one of those bands that you see that goes out and uses gimmicks and the latest fashion to draw a crowd...we just show up and do our thing and if our friends want to come and watch then that's just a bonus...I guess by that standard we receive alot of bonuses in our line of work..."
We are currently unable to play shows due to the fact that half the band has moved, but the other half has had complications and delays in coming down to Austin with us. As soon as the band is reunited, here in Austin, we plan to continue on a rampage of the bars of clubs of the Austin area...not to mention children's playgrounds and nurseries. If you would like to help us out during this break from the live action, please just continue to tell your friends about us and spread the word.
