Too many...Out of Africa, The Motorcycle Diaries, A Walk on the Moon, The New World, Gone with the Wind, Chocolat, Glory, Amelie, The Princess Bride, Labyrinth, Thelma & Louise, Airplane, Sleeping Beauty, Steel Magnolias, Roman Holiday, Empire of the Sun, The Red Violin, Little Voice, the new indie film Before the Music Dies, any Baz Luhrmann, Richard Linklater, all of the Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, and Indiana Jones films. Oh, and Jaws. I love sharks. Especially mechanical ones named Bruce.
Television
I haven't really been watching TV as of late. But I try to catch The Office when I can. Lost, when it's on. And any good football game (go Bears!) I have a fondness for medical dramas... House, Grey's, ER. And I'm a sucker for all the cooking, travel, and saucy British sitcoms on PBS, when I happen to be home to catch 'em.

About me:

I just turned 30. No really, I did. Yeah, I know, I look young. Ask me if that bothers me in 20 years. I love to draw, I love to paint. I’ve been doing it my entire life. I’m just now getting comfortable with calling myself an artist. I'm learning to live fearlessly. Fearless will soon be my middle name. I’m happy the majority of the time. Especially when I can flex those creative muscles. I am incredibly patient. I am insanely emotional. I care too much about things I shouldn’t care about. I thrive on music, and my overwhelming connection to it. It feeds my work. I have no clue where I will be ten years down the road. I’ve been almost moving to another city for six years. Maybe one day I will. But I do love Chicago. Sometimes my lack of common sense astounds me, and sometimes I think too much and overanalyze until I drive myself nuts. I believe that I appear to be more interesting than I am, but not nearly as interesting as I’d hope to be. I don't actually eat the paint. Well, not on purpose. (But it would explain quite a lot about me if I did.) ..
