Collecting Music seriously since I was 18, from Drum & Bass to Jungle in the early 90's.
Following shows like 'The House That Jack Built' hosted by the man Steve Jackson or The Outer Limits with Colin Dale (also on the, then great KISS FM!)
Then there was the House explosion around 1995, which became my staple diet of aural sounds for a while, from Masters At Work to Armand Van Helden & usual chart stuff...you catch my drift :)
Became 'aware' of Ambient & Techno through mates of mine & discovering Solid Steel on KISS FM (before they turned to shit!).
This show single-handedly changed how I saw music & opened my ears & mind to new worlds.
Like everyone else of my ilk, I found Lifeforms & that was a turning point if ever there was one & in their own words "You Will Awake Now!"
Then came Basic Channel's album in 1995 & I'd already bought the amazing twelve; Phylyp's Track II, I was then to become engaged in the sound that was to become the future. Aaaah 'Domina'
Of course now being replicated & in most cases influencing many great artists nowadays..which some do well...some not so well.
Collecting vinyl became 'almost' an obsession for me over the years, through all genres of music, deep house, techno, glitch, dub-techno, ambient & old school breakbeat house, most of which I still own..Proudly :)
I also became a proud owner of 2x Technics 1210's & a Gemini 626 mixer in 1998, which I still have, results of which became another obsession to mix all this stuff up in a way I'd like to hear them. Some mixes I still have.
Fast forward to 2007 & a subsequent & challenging future lay ahead: Making My Own Music!
So I sought out a Korg Micro X & got Reason.
The moniker 'Gamma Player' was born for a brief time, but couldn't use that name (not really original huh?) & so SEN became the moniker of my liking.
Hooking up with my mates: GRIT, Channel 73 & The Future Thought Tapestries on Myspace (all who have been making music for years), which collectively now known as The Satellite Religion & 'things' started to happen :)
