Approximate had its genesis in various basement jam sessions that took place though our high school years. While the music certainly left for some improvement, there was always much laughter. During this period both John and Glenn were in other bands(..Solar Wind.. and ..Instant Justice.. respectively ). Then after graduation from high school, we formally joined forces and played through in the summer breaks from college. A few of the current Approximate tunes date back to this period. During college, Glenn played in a few bands(..In the Shadow.., and ..Collusion..), while John was part of ..The Choosey Mothers... Approximate was officially formed after we graduated from college in the summer of '94, and has continued ever since, although it has sometimes been put on the back burner due to family and work commitments. In 2007 Rob Lippman(Ex Lotus(not the techo/jam band), Pier 6 Brawl, Big Boss Band, etc...) was joined to fill the drum throne. .. Approximate consists of ..Glenn Hubler, Rob Lippmann, and John Yonosh. It is the outlet for our song writing, playing, and humour, as well a good way to get some practice and experience in recording engineering and record production.
