New York City jazz Drummer Phil Stewart. Performs regularly with the Grant Stewart Quartet as well as with Ehud Aherie and Sacha Perry. Phil has performed with such jazz legends as Hank Jones, Barry Harris, Clark Terry, Pat Martino, Brad Mehldau and Pete Bernstein. Phil has played in France, Russia and most recently enjoyed a two week tour of Japan. He is the most recorded drummer on the Smalls Jazz record label and has appeared on more than 30 records. The most recent recording to feature Phil is Grant Stewarts "around the corner" on sharp nine records. Phil is performing regularly at Fat Cat and Smalls both in Greenwich village in NYC.
