Born and raised in Detroit, MI, Producer..Engineer Chuck Alkazian caught the music bug at the age of five. This is where he learned how to coordinate the creative process. He mixed during the winters, and would attend summer music sessions at Berklee School of music in Boston. ..Picking up incredible music and production skills was the name of the game. After four years of making music in Detroit, his talents landed him a spot as a First Engineer by world famous Streeterville Studios in the music Mecca of the Midwest, Chicago, IL. Working on clients such as the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and The Dave Matthews Band would not be a stretch for a normal week... This was the eclectic vibe of his next four years. Hip hop, rock, blues, and many a commercial spot created quite a canvas for a rock musician from the Midwest to work. Streeterville Studios launched Chuck into a whole new dimension of making records. .. After feeling a little home sick, Chuck decided to make the move back to Detroit where he landed a mixing position at another nationally famous studio, Pearl Sound Studios. This studio was well known through the eighties and nineties as the home to world famous producer, Ben Grosse... Continuing off the incredible vibe set by Ben, Chuck would utilize the room to embrace clients from coast to coast. To this day, Chuck still feels a bit of magic in that room! .. Chuck has since purchased Pearl Sound Studios with business partner, Patrick Harwood. ..Now, Chuck has made the break to making records as a freelance Producer..Engineer and continues to work with the freshest and most diverse clients. However, Chuck insists that there is one thing that should never change, the importance of the creative and honest relationship between the artist and the producer. .. Matt and Chuck meet.......
