Raised a nice Christian boy, I
found myself in a quandary. I am not preachy or heavy, but I do want to share a
blurb here on this issue because it's part of who I am.
There is a book by;Rick
Warren called 40 Days of Purpose.(AWESOME
BOOK) On page 101, Rick made a point that has stuck with me years
later.
If you believe in God, but have
found yourself saying things like:
"I like to believe God is......"
"I think God will see that I am a good
person and......."
"How could a loving God let me die?"
Ask yourself this:
Can you change who God is?
God is God! We can not conform God
to be who we want him to be. We can not alter who he is to fit into our lives.
He is God. I found myself trying to create a politically correct God that
adapted to the life I was living.
As a Christian I was never taught
to read and seek, but that said, a Catholic, Baptist, Lutheran, Methodist or any
other denomination can be a Christian even if their are differences in
doctrine. I am simply encouraging you to read the Bible and seek out who God is
on your own. Don't judge him by judgmental folks that rub you the wrong way.
If a hypocrite is standing between you and God, guess who is closer!
I am
constantly in struggle with sin. It seeps into my life from all directions. I
do not lead, but rather point to my leader. If you believe in something, find

I am a total Cheese Head! I've lived all over but love Wisconsin and will always consider it my home. I am now living in East Texas and have my own I.T. Consulting company. I just took a Project up in Columbus, Ohio to work for Chase Bank for the Washington Mutual conversion for 45 days. I leave June 29th. Hope to meet some friends to hang with. I was able to hire a guy to run my business for that time. I hope to be back by August 15th. Also, I will be traveling to Costa Rica at the end of September for about 3 months. I lost everything in Galveston and moved up here after hurricane Ike. Hurricanes scare me now but I love to storm chase. It is very nice in the spring here and I am close to family and have made tons of cool friends and looking to meet more fun people to hang with. I miss Jess & Nicole but oh well!! I am a stout right wing conservative and am addicted to Fox News. I LOVE AMERICA! Politics are a big part of my life. I used to be the Mayor of my community for 2 terms. I am also researching some things that I feel are important, more on that later! I love to sing Karaoke! I also love my church (Bridlewood) in Bullard. I will still make some Pack games but not all of them like years in the past. For my new friends, my God given name is Brian but everyone calls me Cheese ??? I've been a life long Green Bay Packer nut and love Wisconsin Badgers Football as well as Brewers Baseball. I love the outdoors and beaches, lakes and boating are some of my passions. I also mountain climb and enjoy camping. Extreme weather is exciting, I love storms! I have one of the largest Blatz Beer memorabilia collections in Wisconsin if not the USA, over 250 pieces from large outdoor signs to neons and original hard to find antiques. Football and baseball tailgating and just the whole day when you are watching the games with friends makes me very happy!! Music makes my soul soar! Any type of music from a good artist or writer is worth listening to. I love finding new artists and promoting their music, especially country. I'm also into classic rock, Christian, 80's, 38 Special, Lynyrd Skynyrd and all Southern Rock and country are my favorite type's of music. I am friends with allot of major artists and enjoy going to see them in concert when they are in the area. Friday night fish fry's rock! I also love to cook and people say I am very good at it. Some of my favorite things to do is to go wine tasting or just sitting by the fire with someone I enjoy being with and talking with a great bottle of red wine. I also enjoy traveling to Costa Rica and the Bahamas, our family owns a Villa in Costa Rica that can be rented (See Pictures "Villa Casada") or hit the link below. Wisconsin has so many cool places as well and I enjoy summer festivals and finding unique places to visit around the state and look forward to exploring Texas. I have a ton of friends and just enjoy chilling out by a fire pit. I feel I am pretty grounded and have fun doing just about anything, I can't go anywhere without making friends. One of my favorite quotes is "Fate chooses your relations, you choose your friends."
