I appreciate any film that uses a handjob as a plot point. Kudos PATRICK, kudos.

On the future, can we get some more euro-trash at the Bev? STRIP NUDE FOR YOUR KILLER perhaps?

Bringing the ghost of The Deuce
    to Los Angeles and beyond!

Cutting class to hit the arcade, grabbing a bite at Orange Julius or risking Tad's Steaks, checkin' out the loops and girls at Peepland and Show World, smokin' some dust or a fat spliff, stuffing a forty into my jacket, and watchin' some sex, horror and kung fu on that beautiful strip of land between 7th and 8th Avenue... or at least trying to recapture a bit of that in the decaying, smog filled hellhole known as LA.

At one time we had a complete list of all films screened here
, but the fine folks at MySpace decided with a recent update to limit the umber of characters in these boxes and deleted half of our list in the process. Thanks for always pushing through useless and unwanted updates, MySpace!

All the wonderful old theaters that lined 42nd Street and have now been demolished, hidden, converted to retail space, or turned into a tame Disney version of NYC:

About me:

..
The Grindhouse Film Festival is presented by Eric Caidin and Brian J. Quinn at the New Beverly Cinema in Los Angeles and features the screening of rare 35mm prints of cult and exploitation films from the 1960s through the 1980s, many of which have not been publicly shown since the drive-ins and inner city grindhouse theaters faded away twenty years ago. For one low price attendees get two rare films, a reel of rare exploitation trailers, a free raffle, and very often appearances by the directors, cast and crew of the films being shown.

In addition to our events in Los Angeles, we also do special screenings in other cities from time to time.

For the most up-to-date info, please follow us on Facebook and Twitter by clicking on the images below.

Who I'd like to meet:

A flashback to 1972, when the New Beverly Cinema (then operated by FLESH GORDON director Howard Ziehm as the Beverly Cinema) was an adult theater.
