About iHuman Studios

Building a sustainable future for Edmonton's high-risk youth.. We seek to have a positive impact on the community, which includes social reintegration of youth who have been without support or means to excel in their current environment.

iHuman Youth Society is a non-profit, charitable society, whose mission is to adapt to the needs of each youth, while embracing a holistic approach for long term support, implementing innovative strategies as they benefit the individual. The iHuman Youth Society is an important ..at-risk youth.. lifeline on the Edmonton scene. It has evolved from a small society into a thriving and expanding resource with a very rapid growing waiting list of youth.

We work with at-risk youth in a creative arts environment that includes the promotion of harm-reduction activities. iHuman tries to alter the way troubled youth are viewed by others and by themselves. iHuman..s innovative approach includes a focus on artistic self-expression, complemented with emphasis on peace and social integration. Through unique approaches using various forms of artistic expression, the youth acquire the basics in social and living skills. The capacity for trust is restored to a population of human beings for whom this capacity has been severely compromised. To our knowledge iHuman is the only agency that approaches the needs of at-risk youth in this particular manner.
