I was at UNC Asheville with a completely unrelated major & minor (Animal Behavior & Creative Writing); one day, I was completely bored, and I decided to volunteer with The Fantastiks. The next day, I went in to changed my major to Show Production & Touring, and my advisor convinced me to double major instead. That was fun.
I got into Disney the same way as your friend, through an intership...As soon as those papers are signed, your friend is definately signing their life away for that amount of time. They're going to be Mickey's bitch. I can say this...There will be a deep new found appreciation for the South Park Jonas Bros. episode, as well.
It's a good thing they're going to FL because Disney provides transportation and housing if they opt for it there while Cali doesn't, and they can learn nifty geeky things like: You can place Disneyland in the Magic Kingdom parking lot and still park guests' cars in it. April, May, and June are Daisy Duck's nieces. Not to mension the awesome songs you'll wind up singing in your sleep like: Kiss the Girl, A Whole New World, Be our Guest (in 6 different languages), Once upon a Dream, Make a Man out of You, You'll be in my Heart, Woody's Round-up, Tiki Tiki Tiki Room, Hawaiian Rollercoaster Ride...Man, I could go on and on, but I'll stop...Yeah, I'm a Disney geek now, and getting into the parks for free anytime & anywhere in the world, except China, is definately a plus.
Okay Mr. Hygiene...as if you weren't beautiful enough...sheesh *floss floss - rinse - floss floss some more* I have a pretty smile too...see -- !
Whoa Nellie! Talk about cold! It was 7 here this morning and won't get above freezing today...but it's sunny!?! Tonight we should be 2 degreezzzzzz...... Reminder: Bring in your pets and check livestock water!
My favorite kind of floss right now is Johnson and Johnson's Reach Total Care...it is stretchy so it is possible to snap it in your own face...or maybe that is just me. lol

wow! im super jealous! i LOVE dinesy. a friend of mine just got an intership with disney in FL. how did you get into stage managing? (that's my sisters thing, and then she got me into it) i enjoyed doing props and set construction. ( i was in HS at the time, but it was still a lot of fun and had A LOT of good times.)
