  • Bio

Lounge surfaced in the about to be thriving OCNY scene in 1995. Led by John Naclerio, these guys quickly generated a rabid following of people who still talk about them to this day. Playing shows with bands as diverse as All Out War, fellow local legends 99 Cents and of course Cooter, the noise made was heard by all. The Self Titled cd came out in 1996 on GFY Records and their sophomore release, Punk Rock Superheroes came out on Triple Crown Records in 1998. They toured with bands like Bigwig and Cooter. They had another full length already in the can when they suddenly and inexplicably broke up at the end of a tour in California. Lots of people throw around the coulda been's when talking about defunct bands but with Lounge there is nothing but truth in those words. Talk of a reunion show has been a constant ever since the band broke up, but none has happened.
