| About Murder in Memphis |
Murder in Memphis is a five-piece Punk/Hardcore band from Denver Rock City, Colorado. Signed to Falcom Records in 2006, Murder in Memphis released their first EP, "Obvious As Whiskey" on April 18th, 2006. In the Summer of 2006, MIM decided to split ways with their original singer due to artistic differences. The addition of a new frontman has brought new energy to the band and they have revamped themselves, literally tackling a new form of punk/post hardcore with their craft. MIM has commonly been known as a band that is "undefinable" because of their constant musical evolution; and they show no signs of relenting for the sake of popularity and commonality. MIM has had the opportunity to play the Taste of Chaos, as well as sharing the stage with numerous bands including the likes of Love Equals Death, I Am Ghost, Thrice, Atreyu, Time Again, The Smashup, Pelican, Drop Dead Gorgeous and many more. MIM is best known in their scene for their notoriously energetic and entertaining live show. Regardless of your taste in music, MIM will leave a remarkable impression on you and keep you coming back for more.
