If there are words in it, I'll read it. Reading "One Hundred Years of Solitude for my book club at work. Enjoyed re-reading the entire Harry Potter series; decided that the books are still wonderful & fabulous! My Reference reading that is continuous includes "The Ethical Slut", "The Runner's Book of Daily Inspiration", and "Wyland Ocean Wisdom". Some favorites: "Skinny Legs & All", "The Red Tent", "Into the Wild" and "The Chronicles of Narnia". Though truly choosing a favorite book is like picking a favorite tree or star.

About me: The challenges of our time are complicated and of greater scale then every before. Does every generation think this? Perhaps, but in this time, our environmental, social & economic issues are no longer limited to neighboring/ local industry, but rather are global in scale.
We must make educated decisions as consumers. Simple things like the coffee we drink, food we eat, clothes we wear and cars we drive have global implications.
I am very interested in the field of energy production and consumption. In my lifetime, the shift from non-renewable fossil fuels will occur. It Must!! I would love to see this shift occur, not because of diminishing supplies (of fossil fuels) - and thus have no choice - but rather because there is better technology available.
The Stone Age did not end because we ran out of stones.
I have finished (for real!) my graduate school studies at Indiana University. I was in a joint program with the School of Public & Environmental Affairs (SPEA) and the School of Journalism. I am now so educated (Bachelor's, and two Master's degrees), that I feel the only thing left to do is get a PhD and Teach! Just kidding...I am pursuing a career in Environmental Non-profits.

Hey, just seeing how things are going, hope you're doing good! I leave for basic/tech school on October 28th, I have to be back at the MEPS building on the 27th.
I'm going out to Cali/Arizona at some point, maybe even Vegas before I leave for the AF. I should be out there for a month at least, maybe we could meet up somewhere at some point?
