The Network for Good is up to their contest craziness again..and 11th Hour is entered. The site is called Razoo and the contest is called March Goodness (instead of Madness) and we have a chance to win $10,000 for Eleventh Hour! Just like last time, it is not the dollar amount of the donation ($10 minimum) but the number of unique donors that will decide the winner. Although the amount isn't as large as last time, the time frame is shorter too..the deadline is March 31st. It only takes a minute to register and just a minute more to donate....so please let everyone you know, know about the contest and get them to donate and then email to everyone THEY know and get THEM to donate...

What It Means To Foster: Fostering is not as difficult or heart wrenching as you may think! The end result is fantastic and you've played a major part in finding
a forever home for a dog that would otherwise have been euthanized. All you need to do is care for a deserving animal in your home and help him or her find their way to their forever homes. We cover all
medical expenses, you provide the love.
It’s easier than you think so please consider fostering a dog.
Each time we can have a dog stay for a short while in a foster
home, we can save another from a terrible fate. Our volunteers
are ready to help you get into fostering so help us help them.

Please help me support Georgia H.B. 606 "Grace's Law" named after a dog who survived the Liberty County Gas Chamber and was named "Amazing Grace". By March 12th this bill must pass the Georgia House Committee on Agriculture and the full house of representatives. If it doesn't, it dies. This bill will close the loopholes in the Humane Euthanasia act of 1990. This will make sodium pentobarbital the only acceptable method of euthanizing an animal. ~~~~~ The gas chambers are a cruel and hideous way to perform euthanasia. The myth of these chambers is that the animals just "go to sleep". Quite the opposite - the shrieks and screams of the unfortunates put to death in this way are a testimony to the lie. The chambers are a threat to shelter workers as well. Tennessee outlawed these chambers after a shelter worker died from carbon monoxide poisoning in 2002.
Georgia Voters for Animal Welfare needs YOUR help to end the madness. It only takes a minimum of time and effort to be a hero. Will you step up and be a hero today?

All I did was call up the representative, state who I am, where I am from and that I support "House Bill 606, Graces Law, to end gas chambers in Georgia". You can add that you feel gas chambers are inhumane, stop being cruel to shelter animals, etc, but keep it clean!
