One of the greatest stories ever told - and a really cool movie. I first saw this movie when I was about 12 years old - it had a huge impact on my thinking. Check it out!
Television
Lately I've been watching kinder, gentler shows like "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" - wow! What a tearjerker.
Books
My own, of course. Just kidding. The Bible - I just love to read the Bible! Not. But I have, too many times. With so many people fallaciously believing it's the "Good Book," I just had to stick my nose into it - and found that it needed a thorough debunking. PU! A rotting corpse under the bed. Anyway, too bad that rotten rag has usurped the word "biblio," ruining it for all other books.
Heroes
My Lord and Savior Hercules
My Lady and Savioress Isis
Harry Potter
"Acharya S deserves to be recognized as a leading researcher and an expert in the field of comparative mythology, on a par with James Frazer or Robert Graves--indeed, superior to those forerunners in the frankness of her conclusions and the volume of her evidence." Barbara Walker
"Amidst global chaos, Acharya S is the voice of reason." Joan D'Arc
What is the Secret?
"I am whole, perfect, strong, powerful, loving, harmonious, healthy and happy."
My new Examiner article:
It seems that the only thing which will keep humanity from completely obliterating its natural world and causing its own extinction is a return to the "Pagan" Earth-loving attitude that teaches respect and reverence for our global home.
Please read, comment there and pass around!
I don't know how many other atheist, secularist or humanist organizations have made vocal their concerns about the Islamist-backed push at the United Nations to limit criticisms of "religion" - i.e., Islam - but when I see articles like the following, I say, "It's about time!"
Here's a WTF? story about PC and multiculturalism run amok. After they are done raping or throwing acid in the faces of uncovered women, perhaps the anti-woman fanatics will enjoy presenting their little girls with these lovely Barbie dolls covered in burlap sacks.
I was going through some boxes recently, and I found a letter to me from the late great Robert Anton Wilson, written way back in 1992! Before I put return this precious item to safe-keeping, I had to excerpt it here.
Watching the disturbing Dispatches program on the Muslim terrorist massacre of November 2008, during which fanatics slaughtered 170 people, including both Muslims and non-Muslims, we are reminded of how quickly the world forgets this atrocity, which left so many dead.
Somehow, the idea of having 2,000 Buddhist temples in the U.S. doesn't bother me at all - in fact, I rather like it (so far). I have been to a number of Buddhist temples and monasteries, and I find their color and joy far superior to the atmosphere of other houses of worship. Buddhist monks and nuns take themselves too seriously...

Out of Africa comes the disturbing news of entire regions being toxified and polluted by the industry of recycling used computers. There are millions of discarded computers on this planet, and many of them are ending up in African villages as well as elsewhere, including China, India, Nigeria, the Phillipines and Vietnam, replete with...
The barbarism and brutality in the world never ceases to appall. This time we hear of yet another savage dis-honor murder in a Muslim country: Jordan, where a courageous and beautiful queen is attempting to drag her nation into the Age of Enlightenment, after yet another vicious murder...
In an interesting development, it appears that Buddhists globally are becoming increasingly proactive in both protecting and spreading their ancient ideology. Numbering up to 500 million adherents worldwide - the fourth largest religious denomination in the world - there are two major paths of Buddhism, Theravada and Mahayana...
Just when you thought it was safe to go back into the water... Actually, those of us in the know have known for a long time that the U.S. has not been safe from Islamic terrorism, 9/11 or not.
The religious maniacs are going to destroy the whole planet. Sometimes it's easy to understand the fury with which the "New Atheists" have come out swinging! It's time for the saner and more rational segment of society to put its foot down and say, no, you will not destroy the earth over your flimsy ethnocentric and cultic beliefs!
Even when wearing the full-face covering niqab and the billowy figure-destroying abaya, women in these Muslim lands cannot find peace from the hostile and sexist men. And we can understand why increasing numbers of women are choosing to wear this symbol of misogyny, as they are being compelled to do so through just such harassment.
A major new study has found that when it comes to religious tolerance globally, predominantly Muslim countries rank among the least tolerant, while "Western" democracies make up the bulk of the freest places to live. Such findings may come as no surprise to millions of citizens of Westernized countries and refugees...
Who I'd like to meet:
That should be "whom I'd like to meet." But that's MySpace. Just kidding.
I'd like to meet anyone who likes to see the world as a giant amusement park - environmentally sound, of course.
As a winter present for everyone, I'm offering a free novella on my website.
A Happily Ever After of Her Own
Melinda Lightfoot, a preschool teacher with an unusual ability to flit in and out of fairy tales, never thought she would get into trouble...
...until the Fairy Tale Police arrest her while she is in Beauty and the Beast. If that's not bad enough the Beast tags along in search of his true love, and Melinda starts falling for the fairy tale prince. She must choose between doing the right thing and having her own happily ever after.

Brightest Blissings for your weekend :-) ~=sending love=~ ~=jeff=~
Thank you Acharya for accepting my sent friend request! Very much appreciated.
I was intrigued to hear what you had to say when Peter Joseph invited you as a guest on his radio show.
Here soon I will take a look into buying "Christ in Egypt". Religion has always been a down fall for myself when it is ever brought up and as always I never have answers to every question that people ask me so in that case I end up losing the conversation.
Also I see that you are located in Kentucky? I'll be moving there soon sometime next year from Arizona. If you don't mind me asking and don't mind sharing, what city do you reside in?
I'm a Coordinator at The Zeitgeist Movement. Someone contacted me saying you had some claims regarding The Zeitgeist Movement supporting Islam (which it doesn't). I have reason to believe someone is making an imposter of you.
