Howdy friends - does anybody actually read this stuff? Well my name is Chris Wilkinson and in my head I'm a full-time musician but in reality I have a day-job which interrupts all my fun ;) I play galavantin' guitar and sing in 2 bands, The Bonneville Barons and our new project The Zazou Cowboys - check my top friends to hear us. In true bandleader fashion I consider myself chief whip-cracker, task master & tyrant! I'm really fortunate to play music with some great talented musicians who're also some of my closest friends, I met my best pal Yann Mahdjoub 5 years ago and he opened the door to a whole world of roots music for which I'll be forever grateful. Since then we've made 3 albums for Western Star Records, played shows all over Europe and self-released our own vinyl EP. I love drawing and graphic design, I've done all our record sleeves as well as some work for various bands and friends. I'm always striving to make better art, write better songs and improve as a musician...I guess that's a life-long mission.
