Here's some background info on JayDee, the Music/Radio guy...
A club DJ since 1980, JayDee has brought the word SmoothMix to the radio vocabulary in New York City. A native of Brooklyn, NY, JayDee has been a regular house and guest DJ at some of New York City's most popular R&B/Hip Hop nightclubs for over 20 years!
From 1992-2004, BigJayDee brought his flawless, on point mixes of R&B, Hip Hop, Classics and Club/Dance music everyday to the mixshows and live broadcasts of 107.5 WBLS/New York. His first mixshow, the WBLS Thursday Afterwork Dance Party Live at the City nightclub in Times Square, was the first live weekly Club mixshow at night on New York City radio!
JayDee is the owner of 1208 Entertainment, a multi-media entertainment company based in New York City that specializes in Music Production, Radio Broadcasting (SupeRadio/National Syndication), Radio and Media Marketing & Promotion, Management/Consulting and 1208Models Management.
JayDee has produced and remixed Top 10 R&B and Pop hits for gold & platinum artists such as Destiny's Child (Bootylicious), TLC (Unpretty), Heather Headley, Gerald Levert, Lionel Richie, Syleena Johnson, Raphael Saadiq & Lucy Pearl (Don't Mess With My Man), Maxwell, Keith Sweat (my first major label projects-I Want Her, Make It Last Forever and Dont Stop Your Love) and many others.
