ABOUT METALNETRADIO :

MetalNetRadio.com is an Independent Internet Radio Station. We were founded in 2000 as a hobby to amuse ourselves and friends but since then it has grown into so much more. We are one of the fastest growing and most popular Internet Metal Stations on the Planet. We believe that the reason we have such a popular following is simple "We Are Not Part Of The Corporate Machine". We are Commercial Free and will always remain so, you will also not hear any lame-assed DJ poser plugging the shit out of some crap band cause he is getting paid or told to do so. We maintain our independence and play only what we think is good and that our listeners think is good. Bottom line is that we are Metal Fans doing this for the cause of Metal we don't make one penny for doing this in fact all our costs come out of our own pockets and that is expensive but it is our pleasure if we expose our listeners to new bands and keep the Metal Flame Burning Strong !
We do have some Record Label Support in the form of receiving free promotional cd's and in exchange of those we do give website banner ads and links. All promotional material we receive gets played and rated. We also encourage Independent Material because we know the the True Essence of Heavy Metal is in the Underground and if we can help give an Indie band some exposure it's our DUTY!
