About me:
Hello, my name is Sarah and I write things on www.freakytrigger.co.uk. I am 25 and I like things like knitting, BRAN, crochet, Doctor Who, BEER, hot port, Bernard Quatermass, Poptimism (where I played records at new years, then drank too much white wine and had to be escorted home - this year I vow no more white wine, only pints - you know where you are with pints), sloe whisky, Veronica Mars, moomins, cups of tea (Yorkshire Tea for Hard Water please) and INDIE DISCOS.

My current reading: Lancashire, Where Women Die Of LOVE by Charles Niven (that is apparently a quote from BALZAC!), The Social History of the Pianoforte which was returned to me in good time by Pete (well done Pete), a so far utterly dry tome about the ethnology of BOOZING - irony! - and the compleat Bros. Grimm. HOWEVER I am INTERESTED in reading the YOUNG BOND books by Charlie "out of the" Higsons so if anyone fancies sending me a free copy for review - or perhaps just out of sheer generosity - it would be appreciated. I'd buy it myself but you see I spent all my money on curry.

Current listening = Half Man Half Biscuit, ABBA, John Dickson Carr radio plays, OMD, Jeanette, Berntholer, The Scars (seeing as there's a reissue, with remastering, and EQ levels) and the dying screams of Mika. I can dream.

Why don't you send me your Animal Crossing (gamecube and DS) friends codes? COME ON YOU TWEE BASTARDS.
Who I'd like to meet:
Friendly people! No tinies.

The next "Keep your ears Peeled" night is happening this Thursday 12th April at a NEW VENUE:

ARIZONA BAR & GRILL
2A Jamestown Road
Camden Town, London
(Walk towards Camden Market from tube until you reach Jamestown Rd on left)

It could be our LAST night unless we impress the new venue with a good turnout (each night has been busy so far ...), so if you've been thinking about coming to one of our nights then this is the one to come to! Round up all your friends, and If you can't make it then tell someone who may be interested ... no pressure or anything :)

This month's night will be slightly different as we are sharing the venue with Tufnells Indie night, which means there will be a whopping 6 live bands for your listening pleasure!

Keep your ears Peeled DJs will be playing classic tracks from the John Peel Festive 50s of the 1980s between the live bands, and Tufnells DJs Trigs & Treaks will be playing a more varied mix after the live bands until 2am.

Check out these quality acts:

Mr Solo (from Dave Devant & His Spirit Wife)
The Supernovas
Jean
Cavalry
Keshco
Happycat

Hey, I might know why people are intimidated by this page and don't leave comments much. You have not one but TWO angels on your top friends list up there. Wouldn't want to risk offending you! No fool's gonna mess with someone who is friends with celestial beings. That's just ASKING for trouble, innit?
