Grab the Camera formed outside of Portland, Oregon in 2004. Their first Release,"Just Making Memories" debuted in January of 2007 Before the EP was released GTC had already begun writing for their first full-length album. Planning for it to be much heavier and more technical, Buddy(vocalist) had another idea to add to the mix. He wanted to make the album a story. Running with this idea, GTC found themselves writting their music based around what was going on in the story. This caused the music and lyrics to work side by side with the story.
