Trista Smith and Jason Grimm met each other in a college acting class. The first day, they were instructed to come up with an improvised scene. Having never met, they immediately broke out into a scene about two elderly people who owned a sex shop. And so it began. At night, they would sneak into the music hall and write mean songs about fellow classmates, professors, and various body parts. . Since then, Smith and Grimm have performed at The Lakeshore Theatre, The Bailliwick Theatre, Gentry and Davenport's. Last Summer, they were seen together, playing a mild-mannered, mass-murdering married couple in "Eating Raoul, the Musical" (produced by Hell in a Handbag Productions). Their next adventure takes them overseas, to Europe. Smith and Grimm will be performing on a cruise ship (fullfilling their life-long dream of sharing their songs about poop, farts and testicles to an international audience). In addition to her act with Jason, Trista is a musical theatre actress around Chicago. She was most recently seen in "Forbidden Broadway: SVU" at the The Royal George Theatre and has also worked with Hell in a Handbag Productions, Theatre Building Chicago, and Porchlight Music Theatre. Jason is a musical director and actor in Chicago. He's toured with the Second City, and plays piano for several sketch and improv theatres around the city. He currently got to fullfill a ten-year dream by playing for Chicago's longest running musical, "Co-Ed Prison Sluts" (in addition to several other shows) at The Annoyance Theatre.
