The following are bands and artists that influenced me musically growing up. They are arranged in no particular order. Many people are so shallow they think that if you respect an artists work, you must respect and agree with their socialogical, political, and/or theological angles. I'm a free thinker and good music will not influence my thought patterns. That being said, some of the artists that have influenced me the most throughout my life have been:
LIVE
MUSE
FILTER
PRINCE
PRIMUS
FUGAZI
ZORNIK
BB KING
SUBLIME
HENDRIX

Relatively new features that technology has given us, like Google Search, youtube and the like, has really fleshed out life in a lot of ways, and made it complicated in other ways. I hope that the availability of graphic images to kids of any age does not affect our world's subconscious minds, but that's like hoping that the sun wont rise tomorrow. We all know it will.
Also, the inhability of many people to distinguish between choreographed violence and make up effects in the movies, and reality, really worries me.
Welcome to the official myspace presence for The Material Objects.

Here's the first thing you should know about this account.
I started this page to share my music with the humanity, and have since made many friends all over the world. It is rare that I meet with anyone in person from myspace, but invitations to meet in person with anyone underage will be ignored, and repeat requests will result in me blocking your account.
The map above will let us know where people are interested in our music around the world. When this map starts getting really populated, we will start planning a tour based on where the scenes are. So spread the word!!!
