Nate and Seth Vanek are two brothers from Chicago who specialize in funky downtempo and uptempo break-oriented beats. .. Nate's been a DJ for 8 years and runs Ground Lift, an online magazine dedicated to hip-hop, funk, and crate-digging. He can be found spinning hip-hop at various spots around Chicago. He digs out the samples, programs the beats, and rocks the wheels of steel. Peep his flavor at www.groundliftmag.com.. Seth's been a musician since he was 14 when he trained as a jazz drummer/percussionist and later a self-taught guitarist and keyboardist. He plays all the instruments on FFB tracks. He's in two bands, Velvetron and Crap Engine, and oversees the countless other projects signed to his Fresh Produce label. Check out his kung fu styles at www.fprecords.com .. Leap Year EP

This EP marks a step into the forefront; a milestone from fear of scrutiny or failure. Produced entirely alongside my crew, Miami Beat Wave, it symbolizes a journey beginning with a leap of faith, and resulting in a compilation of work that embodies a year's worth of collaborative effort, struggle, and sacrifice.

These songs are heart and soul, mixed in with a little ingenuity and a lot of creative influence. On behalf of myself and MBW, we present the Leap Year EP. - St. LaRok
