Keren is an accomplished singer-songwriter from San Francisco. Her songs are filled with messages and contain a lot of emotion, passion, and fire.
Keren was born and raised in Israel and came from a very musical family. Her father was a drummer and her grandfather was a famous singer. Keren started singing at age 3 and started writing songs at age 13. She was a soloist in the school choir and joined her first band at age 16.
After serving in the Israeli Army, Keren moved to San Francisco to pursue her music career. She studied music at San Francisco State University, Berkeley Jazz School, Contra Costa College, and San Francisco City College.
Keren also studied acting and modeling at the Elite Agency in San Francisco. She has also studied with professional vocal trainers over the past 12 years, including Brett Manning. Recently, she studied piano and percussion. In addition, Keren has studied dance choreography to improve her live performances.
Through a number of production studios, Keren has worked doing voice overs and commercials for movies and television. Some of her clients include Microsoft, Miss California USA, and Digital Divide.
Her music has appeared in two CD compilations, including “Time Capsule 2000” by House of Jordan Entertainment and “Anyway You Want It featuring Suga-T and En Vogue” by KJAMZ Records and New Jam City Records.
In addition, Keren’s lead vocals were featured on two CDs by Steven Bruillet, a local songwriter and producer. The first CD was called “Language of the Heart” and the second CD was called “Children of the Circle.”
In 1998, Keren released a 3-song demo CD called “Keren” recorded at Disher Music and Sound in San Francisco. In 2002, she released a 9-song demo CD called “Ordinary Girl” recorded at Harwood Productions and mastered at Disher Music and Sound.
In May 2006, Keren recorded a 4-song demo CD at Baldwin Entertainment in Nashville, Tennessee. In September 2006, she recorded a 2-song demo CD at Eyal Katzav Studios in Israel. All of the songs for these CDs were composed and written by Keren Gaiser.
In March 2007, Keren recorded a 4-song EP with Jack Trudel, a songwriter and guitarist based in San Francisco, California. In May 2007, “If You Just Believe,” a song co-written by Keren Gaiser and Jack Trudel, received an honorable mention from Billboard in its 14th Annual World Songwriting Contest.
Keren is an accomplished performer. She has performed in Israel, France, and United States, primarily in San Francisco and Los Angeles. Keren has performed in local clubs, bars, and other venues.
For the past 2 years, Keren has been promoted by a local management company and gained significant experience with live performances. Recently, Keren joined a rock band called "The Passive Aggressives."
