Welcome to CADC
The Cannery Art and Design Center (CADC) is a 501c3 (not-for-profit), contemporary fine arts organization
committed to enriching the cultural life of the greater Miami Valley. CADC provides an exciting,
ongoing venue for exhibitions by both emerging artists and established professional artists enjoying
national recognition. It offers patrons and appreciators of fine art an unforgettable gallery experience
along with a broad array of original art, all framed in a unique setting.
The CADC Experience
The CADC gallery features more than 800 pieces of original ‘art for sale’ at a single location.
A full range of traditional and contemporary paintings, ceramics, drawings, photography, jewelry,
sculpture and much more is offered to the person looking for just the right unique piece of art or
special gift.
Member artists belong to CADC because they like the idea of making their artwork accessible and
affordable to hundreds of potential art buyers each week. In addition to selling art, the artists
understand the importance of belonging to a network of peers who support and promote their
creativity. The gallery brings artists and patrons together in a variety of relaxed and personal
experiences to share information and discover.
Rotating exhibits, special events and a variety of seminars, artistic instruction, mentorship and
art classes add to the excitement of the CADC experience. Whether a resident of the greater
Dayton area or an out-of-town guest, the gallery urges visitors to drop in and browse the latest
creations of local talented artists.
Our Mission
The Cannery Art and Design Center exists to enrich the Dayton region’s visual arts culture by
promoting and selling the work of local artists, and inspiring and educating the community to
appreciate and participate in the visual fine arts.
Art Services at CADC
CADC offers art consulting and artist representation services. Consultants confer with
corporations, hospitals and a variety of large and small businesses on particular client art
requirements. Representatives work closely with interior designers, private collectors
and major galleries to find and install just the right piece of art.
Location
CADC is conveniently located in the heart of the Cannery Arts District. The Gallery is situated
at 434 East Third Street (at the junction of Third and Wayne Ave) in Dayton, Ohio and is surrounded by a variety
of shops, entertainment, delectable food, fine wine and fine art.
