The Student Development Company, LLC was created to provide college and university students with an opportunity to develop their business and leadership skills during their summer vacation. Today’s competitive job market demands that students expound upon what they are learning in the classroom with hands-on experience. While a college education is extremely important in learning concepts and theories, we believe that you don’t truly learn something until you do it. Our program provides students with an opportunity to run their own small business. They are in charge of almost every aspect of the business, from hiring and firing employees, to pricing and selling work, to motivating and managing employees.
