Qbase mostly known as The Q was born and raised in Jamaica. He later left Jamaica to go and live in England. Through working in the music scene he had the great opportunity to work for Minc Records.
The Q was one of Minc Records most innovative producers.
The Q..s early productions were in demand by Producers and Radio DJ..s in both Jamaica and Barbados for further productions.
The Q managed to blend the ingredients of garage/two step, hip-hop, dub and R&B into some seriously intoxicating beats.
Since some years back The Q left the UK to reside in Sweden, where he is now independently working with various artists and musicians.
Currently The Q is more focused on genres such as Rap beats, Ragga, Dancehall and and his own composed sounds of consciousness.
The Q is well known for translating the truth in a unfiltered way. This can be offensive and hard hitting to some who likes to be fed with suger coated words or accepting everything that is fed to them, thinking thats the truth.
Truth is knowledge and knowledge is power.
