About me:
I edited my profile with Thomas’ Myspace Editor V3.6!
I WAS the singer/guitar player/songwriter for Mantra, Gift of Tongues, and Swing State (side project Iantra and the Gift of Swing). Now I'm currently working with a band called I (stay tuned for myspace profile). I have been in several recording studios with several groups of musicians and have played many live shows mainly in Chicago. I have also been teaching guitar for the last 6 years locally in Libertyville and Grayslake. The Chicago music scene has been tough and had its way with me so now my main goal in life is to fight for the little guys- the bands and artists that struggle to find a place to call home. So I opened a music venue for local acts and beyond and the place has turned into much much more. It is a live performance venue/hookah lounge/art gallery/cafe and I named it after my last band Swing State. If you're open-minded and into an alternative to the norm, come in- you'll fucking love it- we're open until 3 a.m. every night from 8:30 (closed Mondays- for more see profile www.myspace.com/swingstatevenue). Who I'd like to meet:
I've met so many awesome people, it's hard to say who I'd like to meet next. And I've already met the girl of my dreams. But overall, i see beauty in everyone. i especially like people who believe that life is short so let's have fun every day- but can also get down and be serious from time to time. i like people that stand out from the norm- i could care less about how people dress or their status in the social circle- read my blogs...
