About me:

..I'm Frederick Smith, author of DOWN FOR WHATEVER (July 2005) and RIGHT SIDE OF THE WRONG BED (December 2007). With RIGHT SIDE OF THE WRONG BED, I've written a fun book, but also a thoughtful book.

It takes us on a wonderful ride through Black and Latino gay couples in Los Angeles, and addresses the question -- when opposites attract and differences arise, can a couple keep the romance going, or are they simply two people waking up on the right side of the wrong bed?

I call it the "dysfunctional couples who don't know they are, but all their friends and family know" book. I'm sure you, or someone you know, can relate.

If so, I think you'll enjoy the "boymance" of Kenny Kane and Jeremy Lopez in RIGHT SIDE OF THE WRONG BED.

"Funny, touching, and intoxicating. Smith has written yet another compulsive read." -- Maurice Jamal, writer and director, Dirty Laundry and The Ski Trip

"A fun, rollicking ride through L.A., where the men are fabulous and the wit is as sharp as the latest pair of trendy jeans." -- Fiona Zedde, author, Bliss and Every Dark Desire

"Anyone who's ever been in one of those 'so GOOD yet so BAD' relationships will relate. It's a page turner with wit, comedy, and very memorable characters." -- Patrick Sanchez, author, Girlfriends

"Reads like real life... this smart and touching novel just won't entertain you. It'll make you think and perhaps even remember." -- Black Artemis, author, Picture Me Rollin' and Explicit Content
