12 Daze now entered into the World Wide Band and Artist Directory' Annual Trade Publication
This annual, three-volume publication, featuring 12 Daze, is lodged with the Library of Congress in Washington D.C. and the British Reference Library in London.
Matt Theberge began recording with his band Warp in late 1995. The sessions took place at Mania Record Studios. The producers of the album were Dave Duchesne and Darel Rano. After completing the bands first demo, and befriending one of the producers, Matt found himself feeling as though he'd like to continue recording music, on his own. So, after seperating from his current band, Matt began recording his first solo CD, with the help of Producer Dave Duchesne. The album, rightfully titled Alone was completed in 1996. Matt performed all of the instruments on the album, as well as the vocals. This was the start of 12 Daze.
In between recording sessions, Matt and Dave founded the band Alien X. The band would record two albums together and tour for nearly 4 years. The band backed semi-major acts such as Great White and Blue Oyster Cult. Also during that time, Matt and Dave decided to work on a short term project titled Coldfire: A Tribute to the Band Rush. Matt would find himself playing drums for the band. Coldfire only played a few shows, two of which were with 80's guitar legend Rik Emmet.
During these 4 years, Matt attended Keene State College, located in Southern NH, and earned himself a Bachelors of Science Degree in Business Management. Matt recorded his 2nd album, The 12 Chapters of Away - An Acoustic Collection Volume One, in his small 3 room apartment in Keene NH "in between skipping classes". Once Matt graduated, he stumbled back to his hometown of Berlin NH.
Back home, Matt found himself with the opportunity to open up his own business, with the help from a Co-Investor. The business was featured in New Hampshire Magazine. Gorham Billiards & Cigar was just how it sounds. Sporting 5 regulation Olhausen Pool Tables and offering a wide variety of cigars and accessories, the business did quite well, for about a year and a half. While working, Matt recorded his 3rd and 4th albums No Man's Field - Phase One and This Dark State. Soon after, the business went under. At least a shot was taken, right?
This gave Matt plenty of time to write and record in his home personal studio. Taken approximately three years to complete, Matt released his 5th CD titled Bring the New - An Acoustic Collection Volume Two. This album is Matt's personal favorite. Matt used Orchestrated Keys to help bring out the feel for each and every song on the album. This album, lyrically, is very revealing and a straight look into Matt's life.
Over the years, Matt has written and recorded over 100 songs. After going through some of the masters, Matt decided to release a 2 CD Set titled Unreleased & Uncut which features songs dating back to 1995. This album was released late in 2005.
Matt wrote a short story titled The 12 Chapters of Away, which is related to his 2nd album, also titled The 12 Chapters of Away. Matt also has plans to begin writing a screenplay about "life". The working title, Comfort's Therapy, is actually a song title that can be found on This Dark State.
Currently, Matt is itching to record a full blown studio album. Soon, his studio will be transformed into a "Mega-Studio". Expect the next 12 Daze CD to be quite rockin' and revealin'. During the recording stages of the new album, Matt will videotape each step of the way and will release a DVD, currently untitled. Matt also hosts a monthly 12 Daze Radio Show. Another project that Matt is very honored to be doing is creating and maintaining The Official Unified Theory MySpace Site.
Interesting Fact: Matt has never performed live under the name of 12 Daze. The only bands he has performed live with are Oblideration, Peanut Butter & Jealousy (Ha!), Crescent Moon, Warp, Alien X, Coldfire, and Clockwork Orange.

Ever wondered what to do in the event of a nuclear threat?
A while ago I found stuff that inspired me to make this film:
Living Under the Shadow of the Nuclear Umbrella
Both artistic (ensure you get the background music!) and educational, it primarily comprises official British government civil defence advice.
Though source materials are quite aged, much remains relevant today.
