Welcome to The 12 Bands of Christmas® MySpace page. The 12 Bands of Christmas is an Augusta charity event that also give some of the CSRA’s finest musicians a platform to showcase their talent. Twelve local artists are chosen to record Christmas songs for a CD compilation and perform live in concert at the Imperial Theatre in December. As you can see from this year's artist list it includes a few names known outside of the Augusta area. These artists have some sort of tie to the Augusta area - they once lived here, their family lives here or they just love playing here. Whatever their connection, they are excited to be a part of our holiday tradition. Proceeds from the 2008 12 Bands of Christmas go to support programs at MCG Health Children's Medical Center.
