The name 12 Rooster Alarm Clock comes from the fact that our next door neighbours bought a bunch of chicks that over time grew into full grown Roosters that Sound Mother Natures Alarm Clock waking trhe World at dawn with rising of The Sun .When I was just a small boy growing up my older brother Steve and I use to sit up in our room for hours with our old portable record player listening and singing songs along with all the great Singers of the Sixties. Wonderful music that we borrowed from our parent extensive music collection.When I turned 12 my father bought me my first guitar for my birthday from that moment Ive always had as an instant connection playing guitar and listening to music . In fact once I started playing I brought my guitar everywhere because I could never really seem to put it down for too long.In many ways music has been a rudder for me on the boat of life it has brought me on so many wild adventures to meet so many wonderful and interesting people from all walks of life in many far off and distant places that I had never experienced or been before. You see I've always believed that music is a language onto itself ,it's universal,a living art that crosses all borders and barriers carrying its shared thoughts and emotions to the ears and concousness of those who like to listen. I've played music for over 30 years and I do it because I love the way it makes me feel "happy and alive".Back in Highschool when I was younger growing up many people played guitar and we use to sit in circles on the grass everywhere talking about common grounds and all the things that link us to one and other .The music of that time said something reaching out to us with a message of social consiousness in the hopes of making this world a better place.Over the years I've lived in many cities and met many people music always being our Common Ground.As we get older Life is a funny thing because we relize that time is limited,a voyage ,an adventure we make it what we want it to be and then in a blink of an eye its gone.Believe it or not as we all get older time begins to move faster, sometimes so fast that we really don't know where it's gone and then we start to worry but I say to you" Dont Worry because you're Here Now" so don't waste your time watching TV or being alone instead use your time to do something Real !! Maybe Join a Group ,Makes some New Friends , Open your Heart, Share Something with Someone ,Change Something,Take a Stand,Help Someone Out,Make a Differance, Create Something, Write something ,Paint Something ,Invent something,Play or Record something But Most of all be Happy Everyday because One day when your gone that the Something that you leave behind and it Matters.
