"Allow Come Back to cast its spell on you and you'll be forever humming.
The latest release from lounge-metal advocates 12 Stone Toddler builds on previous release Candles on the Cake and revisits the themes of getting older and the desire to maintain the innocence of youth. Like a laid back Eighties Matchbox B-line Disaster, the band delightfully combine straightforward rock swagger with eerie and disquieting musical nuances. Whilst not as immediately likeable as 2006's The Rabbit, it perfectly fuses their myriad of influences, ranging from Nick Cave at his most brooding, to Frank Zappa at his wackiest. Allow Come Back to cast its spell on you and you'll be forever humming."

"Having bagged themselves what may prove to be the last great name for a band, 12 Stone Toddler can get on with their one-band assault on that most neglected of genres, that of lounge metal. Simultaneously magnificently louche and uncomplicatedly ROCK, Candles On The Cake takes a wry song about our culture's obsession with age or the lack thereof, and makes it sound so sleazy that it would be right at home underpinning the latest carnal exertions of Jenna Jameson. She's a porn star, as if you didn't know, and 12 Stone Toddler may end up dating her if they continue on their fine trajectory."

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarg. We need a new name can anybody help? Yupknuckle and the Baskets is stooooopid, and the other alternative is too rude for the lucrative children's party circuit. We need YOU!
We were called "Big Daddy Brown" back in the early days. That was stupid. So we changed it to Yupknuckle and the Baskets. Duurh. We had some ideas. We were going to be "Waf waf" (which is apparently what french dogs say). Then we realised that was even more stupid than Yupknuckle and the Baskets. Then we were going to be "The Misfit Orchestra"...
Come on what have you got? The winner gets a date with Jack Splats, our tripe-gnawing trombonist, at the Offal Bar of your choice and free tickets to our next gig. Come on!
