12th of august started with two people. the message was forged by them both. one wrote. those around him illustrated life's lessons. he had to learn by falling. he had to learn by being hurt. he had to find out by testing the ice cold water in the lake. but it has become his duty to warn, to give a heads up, to let those who dont know who they are..."there is a YOU inside of that shell that has been filled with empty lies. you just have to stand up and be bold. for the love of man! question authority! other wise how will you ever make your own choices in life?" this writer was born on the 12th of august. he still learns. he still grows. he goes through pain. he forgets himself. he loses his mind. but dont give up writer. august is right around the corner. you can go another year, yeah? .................... ________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________ 12th of august started with Muhammad Lee in 2007 when he began writing music with his acoustic guitar. Jerome Radcliff, 12th's keyboard player, lived right across the street from Muhammad and they had been jamming together since they both picked up their instruments. lawrence Oghogho, the drummer of the 12th, happened to know Muhammad through his cozen. since they met back in late 2007 they have been making music together nonstop. one day in '08 muhammad decides to bring Jerome over to law's house for a jam session and the rest just fell into place! as of today (may 2009) they have made 10 original songs and have made their own kick ass version of paper planes... but this is just the beginning... stay tuned... things are gonna get crazy with this band!!!
