"I grew up with my Dad's (Folk Legend - Ed Cormier Sr.) banjos, fiddles, and guitars around the house. So I learned to play and sing at a young age. Hearing great songs on the radio made me interested in playing professional gigs and recording".

I'm currently is in the process of digitally transferring my late Father's recordings of the San Diego Folk Festival during the mid 1970's... And also back in the studio with Brock Scott working on a new generation of songs. You will not believe the mix on "Perfect World" coming soon...

From experiences in coffee houses, bars, fairground shows, and from great jams with talented regional and international musicians, I know music is my life...

The Legend of Evel Knievel is a song I wrote with my two friends Hans Jensen and Daryl Castine. It was a new country hit on the old Mp3.com about 8 or 9 years ago. We were honored to be Evel's backup music band at Galpin Ford during 4 autograph sessions as the Bowevel Brothers. I know why there are crazy stories about Knievel... Some are true. All I can say is knowing Evel was like knowing someone like Elvis or Johnny Cash for a short while. He asked us to learn "I will survive" by Gloria Gaynor, but I gave him the Cake version instead... He actually got up and danced when we played it. It was a pretty cool day. Everyone should have have some of those days...

"Faded Natives" is a three piece band I play bass in. A mix of cover and original music... Come see us if you're near San Diego.
