About me:

(Excerpt from an autobiographical essay that I actually turned in for a grade)... "Who is Steve Stelling? One look at his chiseled almost Greek God-like exterior and one might come to the conclusion that he is in fact larger than life himself. Lucky for his many admirers, he is about as down to Earth as an individual can possibly be. Now that I’ve got your attention and we’ve both had a good laugh, allow me to explain what I’m all about. Since 1945, the 6th of August has held a significant place in American history, marking the inception and use of the atomic bomb. 39 years later, in 1984, another “bomb” was dropped on the world. Unlike the multiple mega-ton nuclear weapon that was dropped on Hiroshima, Japan, this bomb weighed in at only just around seven or eight pounds." ...Hopefully after reading that you have pretty good idea of type of personality I possess. Now for some lil fun factoids about myself: I recently graduated from SDSU with a degree in business marketing and have relocated back to the bottom-bunk (yes I sleep in a bunk bed, but let me tell you...once you go bunk bed you don't go back baby) at my folks' pad up here in Orange County. My reasons for leaving the greatness that is Pacific Beach and retreating back home to OC can be summed up in two words, ALPHA PREVAIL. AP is the soon to be unstoppable force that I am the bassist for so check us out and jump on the band wagon(no pun intended...tehe). I suppose that amongst my group of friends I most likely fit the roll as the loud mouth "Joker" of the bunch. I live to laugh, play music, workout, drink and be merry with my buddies while quoting movie lines until there are no more movies left to quote. I should also mention just to clear up any possible confusion that there are some people that still refer to me as Rick(A nickname that I involuntarily received during my high school years), but I feel it's about run it's course and is on the steady decline in favor of Steve-O...
