My taste is really diverse. I'm a musician (violin and piano) and an aspiring bass player (electric). I am always in search of a good beat and looking to hear it for the first time (harder than it should be in a place like NYC). at the top of the current playlist are Sounds for your HOUNDS, Kudu, and Charlotte Gainsbourg with AIR... David Bowie and Prince are gods... Billy Idol, Beck, REM, Bjork, the Roots, St Germain, Erykah Badu, Gwen Stefani, Alicia Keys, Joy Dragland, Brazilian Girls Band, the sounds of Nublu, Johnny Cash, all the classic R&B gods and divas, Mos Def, L-O-V-E old school hip hop (esp Tribe, Pharcyde), desert island CDs for me include everything from Janes Addiction, Tribe Called Quest, Radiohead "the bends", Jeff Buckley "Grace", Jill Scott "who is J.S.", Chopin Nocturnes, and the Bach unaccompanied violin and cello suites.... I guess I'd have to stay here all day to really sum this up. Lets keep it short.Movies
