my name is jay ... i'm pretty easy goin (prob due to smoking too much over my life!) with a bit of a melencholy streak. i love my music though and usually up for goin to parties/clubs/raves (though not as much as i used to be - getting old!) ... i dj drum n' bass (not 'mazin yet but gettin there!) so most of my money goes in vinyl.... generally jus like tryin' to take my mind off the darker side of life! guess that's the same reason i love reading - pure escapism!

i usually love spending time with friends, even if it's just chilling watching a film or something ... but then also have times when i just want to be all on my own and read and write and think. though i've been told my mood swings are nothing like they were a few years ago (which can only be a good thing!)

i also love cats... they're amazing

other than that i'm in cardiff uni doin an ma in critical and cultural theory and got a shit job in an office in the evenings to get cash for the weekends :o)
