.. Anything fun! That's why I like sports, karate, concerts, movies, romance, golf, chess, astronomy, whatever. I like being in an environment where everyone is having fun. It's not all about me. I like easy-going, non-combative people who like to laugh.
Music
Anything with a good melody. Mostly, I'm into classic rock and pop.
Movies
Anything with a good story line that relies more on quality acting than special effects. Mysteries are good, and documentaries.
Television
News and sports, primarily. I'll watch CNN at night, or sports. I love football/hockey/basketball/baseball. I like a lot of the "guy" action movies, like the ones with Charles Bronson, Steve McQueen, Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan. Some comedy and mysteries. By and large, I don't care for most of the sitcoms on TV today, because they rely too much on sex and vulgarity, and laugh tracks. I dug a lot of the old shows back in the day: Mannix, $6 Million Man/Bionic Woman, Beverly Hillbillies, That Girl, The Odd Couple, Perry Mason, Mission Impossible, Gunsmoke, Bonanza, Big Valley.
Books
I'm less of a book reader, and more a newspaper reader. I have a Sporting News subscription, and research a ton of stuff on Google. I enjoy astronomy books. I used to enjoy mysteries, but never seem to have time for it anymore.
Heroes
Jesus Christ made the ultimate sacrifice, so Him, first and foremost. My mother was the great human hero in my life, basically sacrificing the last 33 years of her life for her family. One of the kindest, wisest, gentlest, giving-est people EVER! And a great sense of humor. I love my sister, Kim, and appreciate all she's done, and, of course, my other close family members. My good friend, Lori Teichman, who is sweet and stunningly beautiful, just like Marlo Thomas. I am crazy about them both.
.. I'm crazy about karate & kung fu, sports (Lions, Michigan, some MSU, Red Wings, Tigers, Pistons), love classic-rock music and women who are kind and like to laugh. I have an extensive martial arts, sales and journalism/radio background. I'm generally friendly, have a good sense of humor, believe in justice, kindness and consideration for all. I enjoy swimming, golf, movies, chess, anything fun. I don't like being labeled as a "Christian" or as "religious", because there have been so many evil people with the same label. But I do believe Jesus died on the cross so that we might have eternal life. And I believe we are most definitely in the End Times. Jesus said we'll be able to recognize these times when catastrophic events happen in rapid succession like birth pains. We are seeing that today. We are also headed toward the near- One World government prophesied in the Bible.
Who I'd like to meet: .. I'd like to meet anyone who is a good person. I've already met/interviewed many very famous people. It doesn't do much for me. But I admire Marlo Thomas for her work with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. I feel she's a very special person - a visionary. Of course, I'm awaiting Jesus Christ's return!
