South Euclid Ohio Police Department refuses to investigate this incident. The ongoing stalking and harassment from Anthony Thornton, Cuyahoga County’s Economic Development Manager (age 52) and his girlfriend Cheryl Scullark, Cleveland, Ohio (age 52) is non-ceasing. South Euclid does not need to investigate when they can hypothesize how this occurred.

About me: I am being stalked and harassed by Anthony Thornton (of Cleveland), Economic Development Manager of Cuyahoga County, Ohio (age 52) and his girlfriend Cheryl Scullark (of Cleveland) (age 52) for two years. Anthony and I were having a relationship. I decided that I no longer wanted a relationship with him because I felt that it was wrong to be in this type of relationship with a married man. When I ended the relationship, we discussed about being friends. Anthony gave me $200, bought me furniture, purchased me a mattress set, helped me purchase a computer and bought me matching bed sheets, comforter and pillow set. After he bought those items, he wanted to continue the relationship and wanted more than friendship. I still felt that it was improper. He said that he purchased these things from his heart.

After he realized that I was serious, I starting receiving harassing calls from him. I told him to stop calling. The phone calls continued, and then I found out that his girlfriend was also calling and hanging up, harassing me and my child, continuing for many days at all hours of the night.
Since then, I listed all of the phone numbers that they were calling me from and filed a police report. They obtained copies of my statements and started using other numbers to harass me.
I made a total of 13 police reports with South Euclid between 2/18/05-2/27/06 with all of these dates and harassing calls, dated and timed. Anthony had been in my garage in 1/05 around 9a, driven through my parking lot .. 8a, he was seen by my neighbor. He was seen driving around on 5/27/05 at 8:30 pm. My neighbor told me on 6/2/05 that he saw Anthony driving a red truck (it belongs to his sister Donna Ladd) two weeks prior between 2 and 3 am, circling around my car. I saw Anthony drive through my parking lot on 6/17/05 @ 1:15 a. 10/05 I saw him driving through my parking lot in a brown SUV, 1/04/06 @ 10:45p, I saw him with two Caucasian men driving through my parking lot, circling by my car. It appeared to be him driving by my apartment on 2/13 and 2/14/06 @ 9:30p in his own 2004 Buick Rendezvous.
On April 7, 2006 a Civil Stalking Protection Order hearing was heard in the Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Courts. Judge Eileen T. Gallagher did not sign the complete order.

I have Scullark on video in front of my house in a dark gray/silver van, Ohio License plate DES7736. She is pointing out exactly where I live to another person. Thornton has shown this woman exactly where I live and they have intentions on hurting me.
Thornton was stalking on 6/17/06 @ 5p. Someone alerted the South Euclid police about this. He was also seen 7/13/06 @ 7p. I saw him driving in a beige Lincoln Towncar on 8/30/06 @ 2:30p. It had specialized Ohio plates “..JAMES”.
I received a forwarded threatening text message from him the day before his birthday @ 12:21a. from (216) 6245568 It said, “Love begins with a smile, develops with a kiss and ends with a tear. Send this to 9 ppl or youll lose da one you love.”
These are a few of the people or agencies I have seen if they would be of any assistance to me, yet, without any resolve. I have spoken to former Sgt. Schaffer, Asst. Chief Kevin Nietert, Detectives Vollic and Ben Parisi, Prosecutor Michael Shaunessy, Probation Officer Alice Cox Wynn, South Euclid Councilperson Ruth Gray, and the Domestic Violence Center. I set up an appointment to meet with the Honorable Mayor Georgine Welo. Unfortunately, she cancelled my appointment and rerouted me back to Acting Chief Kevin Nietart and Prosecutor Michael Shaunessy. Cuyahoga County Asst. Prosecutor Paul Myles, Cuyahoga County Ombudsman representative Charisa Punty, Victim/Witness Center Representative Tanya Byrd-Bishop, Cuyahoga County’s Sheriff Department Det.
