What a strange device indeed. I detest it. I detest advertising. I detest sit-coms. I detest neutered drama with shaky camera work and excessive quick cuts like some meth head makes it. I detest the ugly belly of America that enthralls us and I equally detest the rarified lives of beauty and ease that tamper with our self-image, and I hate them both for being bookends of the unreal and forever squeezing the vast majority of citizens away from their identity and purpose. Until I fulfill my expectations of myself I can't designate heroes to crutch me along. There are people I respect deeply and without whom I should not have lived so richly. There are artists and authors who have created fabulous things, which have at times daunted me, awed me, and even disgusted me. To them I am grateful that the potency of their vision reached me and in some way has changed my sight.

Someone willing translate my potential into income.....this includes wealthy businessmen, their bored wives and secretly pill addicted daughters. I'd also like to meet the people who built really old buildings made of very heavy stones so I could tell them how much more bad ass they are than me. I'd like to meet the suit and tie dude who works in some secret location who sits me down to pitch a proposal making me into a super spy. Generally I enjoy the people I meet. Let's hope that all continues. I haven’t yet had lunch with Einstein or Jesus and I don’t think I'm missing anything. In the time I'd spend waiting in line to eat lunch with them I could have had a thousand fun times with the accumulated crowd. Think of it like "Meet Jesus tailgating." That said, I would like to hear Jesus throw out some cuss words and bitch-slap Einstein for spilling the salt.Details
