Needless to say, there is a lot to be said about After This Summer. Originially formed in the first winter of 2009, the band was meant to be nothing more than an acoustic "project." Once Allen Bays joined, they became a band. They began playing shows throughout the Hampton Roads area. Within a few months, the guys watched as their fan base quickly grow. The band nearly fell off the local music scene that summer when guitarist Jon Tru announced his departure from the band. Unable to find a new guitarist, After This Summer was once again an acoustic duo.
As shows became unorganized and practices were less productive, the band slowly felt as if they were falling apart. Nothing seemed to be working until an old friend and former band mate, Patrick Ronaghan, stepped in to play bass. The acoustic trio soon acquired a couple new drummers to play with them; Paul Jones and Alec Truelove were by far the best fit for the band. With a solid set list of originals and covers, they set foot back into the music scene.
After This Summer is an Acoustic, Pop, Rock band from Virginia Beach. Since their formation, they have played shows with The Morning Of, Love & Reverie, Select Start, Sparks the Rescue, and many other talented musicians. They have released an EP commercially and have headlined Virginia’s finest, “The Norva.” Of these shows, the band performs for audiences up too 300 fans. After This Summer's music can be heard on a select few state-wide college radio stations such as ODU, Virginia Tech, JMU, Longwood, and Christopher Newport. You may also purchase their debut “Stay For A While EP” on many commercial music websites. Please feel free to contact the band with any questions or concerns at afterthissummer@yahoo.com.

I posted two videos on YouTube - Everything I Need and No Worries. I think the recording of Everything I Need is better; the sound on my recording of No Worries isn't as good because my camera's microphone couldn't take the center stage focal position I moved to for shooting - sorry 'bout that! But y'all sounded great live! Anywhere, here's the YT link to the first song:
