Today is just one of those days when I think about friendship and what does a friend mean to me. Friendship is something I take very serious because when it comes to a real and true friend, I have only but a few. Everybody that says they're your friend is not your friend. Some people take friendship lightly but not me. I'm not quick to use the term "friend" when speaking of others because a friend is a friend at all time and not just some times. So mostly I will address some as an associate or an acquaintance. Every body that I talk to or may even go and hang with is not necessarily my friend. Now what I consider to be a real and true friend is someone that is loyal, trust worthy, there for you in the good and in the bad. Now when I say there for you, I don't mean always in the flesh because no body can be there in the flesh at all times. But in the spirit as well as in prayer is always accepted. A real and true friend I feel is someone who will tell you the truth even if the truth seem to hurt. Sometimes being a friend cause you to show tuff love, but tuff love is better than fake love any time. A real and true friend is someone who will help lift you up when they see you are falling, someone who will listen when you are talking, someone to encourage you when you need encouraging. A real and true friend is some who will share with you even if sharing means giving you their last. Someone that will stand in the gap when you just can't seem to make it yourself. Someone that will beat down the door s and windows of heaven in your behalf when it seems that you've prayed your last prayer. A real and true friend is someone I feel that know their place in your life and is not intimidated when someone else comes in your life. A real and true friend is just that.......
