My interests are anything that gets my adrenaline flowing and my heart pumping. Driving race cars, flying small aircraft, and scuba diving just to name a few. I also enjoy going to watch my son play football and attending his mini rock concerts that his band plays in!!
Music
I grew up during the 80's so there shouldn't be any question about rock-n-roll big hair bands like Motley Crue, Poison, Def Leppard, etc. I also like classic rock such as Steve Miller Band, Aerosmith, ZZ Top, U2, and of course Van Halen. But I also very much enjoy today's alternative rock such as Exit 380 (local band), Bowling For Soup (hailing from Denton, Texas), Papa Roach, The Killers, and The All-American Rejects. But if I had to pick my all time favorite group/album it would easily be Green Day with their American Idiot - that was an awesome concert!!
Movies
Comedy is definitely top of the list for me! Followed by action and then lastly suspense dramas. Scary movies? No way! I think that real life is scary enough and therefore feel no need to pay someone to scare me while stuffing my face full of popcorn.
Television
I don't watch much television but I have to admit this clip cracks me up everytime!!!
Where's my Money ..
Books
I read the directions for baking some cookies recently. Does that count???
Heroes
Like many Americans, I have several relatives in the armed forces. I am very proud of them and the other men and women of our military who serve us regardless of who the president is or how they personally feel - they do it for love of country and for each one of us!!

I am enjoying my life right now as a single father of two great kids. I have a daughter (17) and a son (13). They both make me very proud as a parent and keep me humble as a person. We live very busy lifestyles so things always seem to be hectic at my home. However I like to think of it as "controlled chaos". My children are very different from each other personality wise and that keeps me challenged to stay "connected" with each one personally. I stay as active and involved in my kids' lives as I can so that reduces the amount of "me" time however I would not want it any other way. My kids are a big part of my life and I am very guarded about introducing them to any new friends so please don't be offended. I am also very independent and enjoy hanging out with friends. I would much rather hang out on a patio somewhere enjoying some drinks and listening to a band or talking with friends than waste that time watching television.
In addition to my parenting duties, I am a business partner in a company that owns two small franchise businesses. I run one shop while my business partner runs the other. I very much enjoy "working for myself" but have had to deal with the pressures & demands that come with small business ownership and am finding out just how much time and energy that it takes to grow a business!! Sometimes I think that it would be a whole easier just to go out and "get a real job".......but then again I can't help but to think about what it is I can do with this company and how I can grow it.....and then I am excited about this opportunity all over again.
Who I'd like to meet: That's easy......Jimmie Johnson!! Driver of the #48 Lowe's Chevrolet car.
Beyond that I enjoy meeting new people. As I get to know more people, I discover just how big this world is. But at the same time, it can seem so small at times. I know....I need to get out more, huh?!?! :)
My true friends are very dear to me and I really like hanging out with them. Whether it is dinner, drinks, a movie, a concert, or just hanging out at the house, we always seem to have a good time!!
Thank you for everything. I couldn't have pulled this off without you. YOU are an amazing man, and I am the luckiest girl in the world to have you as my friend. I love ya! Muah! xoxo Wish you were going with me to ROK.
