Foamy Ed aye? Whats better then 5 hot ladies??? 5 hot ladies that can play waaay better music than your boyfriend. Auckland all girl five piece who have toured New Zealand relentlessley and supported international acts such as Blink 182, Pennywise, The Vandals, The 5,6,7,8's, opened 2 Big Day Outs with a huge crowd response. Their songs are powerful & melodic with a definite hard edge, while their use of harmonies and catchy riffs means they still remain emotive. Evident in their visual stage presence, as well as their songs, these girls are well-stocked and bursting with energy!
Foamy Ed formed in 1996 while at high school at Greenbay, West Auckland. 'Go Where U Know' Foamy Eds first EP was recorded in 2000 and sold successfully throughout NZ with impressive crowd & media response. Their first National Tour followed not long after and that was the start of a loyal and strong fan base throughout the country.
Two Years later after more touring, TV appearances and hard work the second EP was recorded 'A Moments Need', and really reflected a progress and directional change in the music, portraying more of an emotional rock emphasis.
The past 2 years have been spent playing live, touring Australia, filming hot new videos and working hard writing new songs for the next album. Latest single Failing to see in stores now or online.
