    LF brings a whole new perspective about the Japanese-American music community. The base of their music is rock and experimentally adding Ambience, Funk, Pop, Post, Ballad, & etc. LF is a band who do not want to be explained as one certain category of music. They do this in order to expressing many thoughts and feelings one can feel. Ryo writes his lyrics in Japanese and English since the band do not believe their are any sets of boundaries in music and he uses 2 language in expressing feelings from different views of points. After disbanding "Zeal" in 2002, Ryo forms the band Laissez Faire. Even though young and unknown, Laissez Faire had the idea in their minds that they did not want to do the same as others and wanted to make a approach within people by different ways. Starting in 2003, the band had produced many live events by gathering Japanese-American bands living in California. Ryo's emotional voice and lyrics, Kenta's groove and grudge punk sound, To-Ru's Aggressive rhythm play, Kaz's dynamic heart pounding drumming, and Kei's professionally proven amazing string play had caught many people's eyes. While Recording and promoting their own music through lives and events Difference in Musical Values emerge within the band. The release of their first self produced indies album "Period" vanished after Kei left the band. 2009 After a long 4 year silence, they come back by "LF" and with laissez faire as their subtitle. bringing along new creative sounds and with a new member Shiina. they return to stage at "REVOLT 2009". After their return, they have played along many big shows, for an example: [ WHISKEY A GO GO w/ Killing Red Addiction (ex. X-Japan Taiji & Dir en Grey producer Dyanamite Tommy]. 2010 after their show at "REVOLT 2010" they work on recording their new song: "sugarcloud." including their popular song "Sign". 30 limited copies were handed out at their show at REVOLT 2011. On August 27th 2011, they were invited and performed at the SPLASH festival 2011 with 2500 customers where Daishi Dance, Mitomi Tokoto,and DJ Masterkey were the main artists. 2003?
