About me:
Hi, we're Scott Ahler and Amy Berg from 138 Creative Design. We are an upstart graphic design company based in Grand Forks, ND. Life in North Dakota has it's ups and downs, but we're proud to represent Grand Forks - conveniently located at Exit 138 on Interstate 29.
Scott is currently finishing his requirements for a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from the University of North Dakota. He is also an accomplished filmmaker, having filmed and edited two successful regional skate videos, Say It Loud and Prairie Dog Town. He's currently working on his third project, which is as yet untitled. When not at school or working, you can find Scott at the skatepark, where he's teaching our 4-year-old daughter how to skateboard. Scott's a fanatical music connoisseur and looks forward to working with bands on show flyers, merchandising designs and, of course, supporting independent music!
Amy studied graphic communication at the University of North Dakota from 2000-2006. She also spent a year and a half working for Girl Scouts - Pine to Prairie Council as their Communications Coordinator, designing various marketing tools including postcards and billboards, as well as designing the council-wide newsletter that was mailed to the 5800 girls we served. In addition to graphic design, Amy enjoys playing darts, microbrews, rockabilly music, and crazy hairstyles. She plans to achieve a license in cosmetology before leaving North Dakota and dreams of owning a rock 'n' roll hair salon and tattoo parlor, in addition to creating dynamic and unique creative digital artwork.
