Obama (the man!) has imposed a large tax on cigarettes to help pay for uninsured children. I am in favor of little kids being able to get proper medical care. I just don't understand why people who smoke are considered "sinners" and therefore are subject to a "sin tax".
Below are the ten commandments.
And although I am with out a doubt a unapologetic
hedonist who spends all of my spare money and spare time in houses of "ill repute" I have yet to find a single commandment that I am in violation of. There fore I question the legitimacy of this tax.
ONE: 'You shall have no other gods before Me.
' We're cool
TWO: 'You shall not make for yourself a carved image--any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.' Ok, I never knew how to do sculptures anyway.
THREE: 'You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain.' Ok, unless I stub my toe.
FOUR: 'Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.' Ok, I need to rest on Sunday too..
FIVE: 'Honor your father and your mother.' Ok, but dad really taught me this...
SIX: 'You shall not murder.
' Ok, no one has pissed me off that much anyway
SEVEN: 'You shall not commit adultery.' Ok, they're single and so am I..
EIGHT: 'You shall not steal.
' Ok, Thieves SUCK !!!
NINE: 'You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.' Ok, as long as they don't do it first..
TEN: 'You shall not covet your neighbor's house; you shall not covet your neighbor's wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor's.' v Ok, but as long as if his ox isn't hotter than his wife.
So, why am I considered a sinner again??????
