   About One Thirty Nine
139 is an alternative rock band whose songs are riddled with catchy hooks and thought provoking lyrics. The group is made up of former members of Super Dream Pill, Drowning Man, and the Touch Gallery. Most of the members have played music together for the past 16 years in one band or another. Highlights of the musicians careers’ include appearing in the Battle of the Bands (Aqua Fest 1993), SXSW (1990), opening for Information Society in Austin (Hack Tour), inclusion on the Dallas radio station The Edge’s annual “Tales from the Edge” Volume 7 compilation CD, airplay on Austin’s B93.3 and KGSR. 139’s video, “Bluest Skies” was rated in the Austin Music Network’s Top Ten. 139 recently appeared on the Fox 7 Morning Show and on Austin's KLBJ 93.7 "Local Licks". 139 has their first full-length CD, "Into the Darkness" available at CDbaby.com or www.139music.com FREE RINGTONES OF OUR SONGS... Thanks for the add. Great music! It reminds me of the bands I love, but still has it's own style. Keep 'em coming! ~Steve with Big City Robot.
