About me:
Join 139th Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry! The 139th Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry (PVI) is a family oriented, Civil War reenacting unit based in Gettysburg, PA and is part of the Federal Volunteer Brigade. Members of the 139th PVI reside in several different states. We attend various types of events, including living history, parades, and battle reenactments. We welcome anyone who has an interest in the American Civil War. You may participate as a soldier or civilian reenactor of this time period in American history. We just ask that you dress time period correct. If you wish to join or have any questions, please contact Capt. Everyone please remember that we will be at the Hanover Middle School on May 1 - 3. The kids really appreciate our presence there.
Doc
Please try to make Regimental Drill on April 4th, if at all possible. Due to a committment to my fire dept, I will not be able to attend the drill. As stated in the newsletter, 1st Sgt. George will be in command of the 139th in my absence.
